Code of Ethics for a VTA Arbitrator
Code of Ethics for a VTA Arbitrator provides ethical and professional conduct standards, which are mandatory for all VTA Arbitrators. By complying with this Code, each Arbitrator asserts his/her own responsibilities for his/her profession, VTA and the society.
VTA's mission is to provide a reputable, effective dispute settlement mechanism with respect, legal standards, and accountability to the traders and society. VTA pursues the “RAPID” value with 05 core elements: Respect – Alternative– Prestige– Intelligence– Dedication in our activites, especially the arbitral proceedings; and constantly makes the best efforts to ensure that the arbitral award always optimizes the freedom in agreement of the parties, transparency and efficiency.
To carry out the commitment, VTA respects attitudes, professionalism, especially the professional ethics of the Arbitrators and is convicted that they are the foundation for VTA values.

VTA’s Model Arbitration Clause: “Mọi tranh chấp phát sinh từ hoặc liên quan đến hợp đồng này sẽ được giải quyết bằng trọng tài tại Trung tâm Trọng tài Thương nhân Việt Nam (VTA) theo Quy tắc tố tụng trọng tài của Trung tâm này”. “Any dispute arising out of or in relation with this contract shall be resolved by arbitration at the Vietnam Traders Arbitration Centre (VTA) in accordance with its Rules of Arbitration”.
The Vietnam Trade Arbitration Center (VTA) is responsible for organizing and coordinating the resolution of business disputes through institutional arbitration, with jurisdiction over disputes including: (i) disputes arising from commercial activities between parties; (ii) disputes involving at least one party engaged in commercial activities; and (iii) disputes as prescribed by law to be resolved by arbitration.
